*Wow!…..have I been excited to write this review! (READ WITH CONFIDENCE) This is not the first time I have done a cleanse, so I have others to compare it to as well. In a nut shell: CHEF V ROCKS! Thats the simple version. The long version is that the 21 Day Cleanse is worth every penny, it is a challenge, and it is positively altering! So far, I am down a whopping total of 51 LBS*, due in part to Chef V’s 21 Day Cleanse! From day 1 to day 21 of the challenge, I lost a total of 22lbs*….and I continue to lose weight. This cleanse has aftershocks. (BOOOOOOOM!) Now here’s the skinny, pun intended: The juice was definitely different than I expected it to be, but not bad. I liked it from the start, and eventually loved it enough to find it really refreshing. I always describe the juice as watered down wheatgrass juice, with a hint of apple and a little pulp–it’s a blended juice from leafy greens with a hint of apple. Delicious and healthy–I gulped it after my workout. The shake was awesome! To me it really did taste very much like an oatmeal cookie, obviously not exactly, but definitely what came to mind upon first time taste. I love the fact that it had live probiotics and enzymes, which separated it to every other protein shake I’ve had! I loved it, and it was filling!!! The soup was definitely tasty! It was my favorite part of the day, and I would order it at a restaurant, so I have no complaints. It was a nice curried sweet potato deal with some coconut milk. It was delicious and satisfying. I love food, sooo much. I cook at least a few times a week, I travel, etc. So, for me fasting is difficult! The only thing that makes it any easier is feeling satisfied during a cleanse, and Chef V’s Routine definitely delivers, especially compared to the other cleanses I’ve tried. You have two 3 day fasting increments during the 21 Day Challenge. While my inner honey badger snorted with fierceness to devour all tasty treats in my wake, my stomach reminded me that it is full and satisfied, which gave me ease at not chewing food for three days. From the time you wake up, you’re taking in something. In total you take in four 16oz glasses of the juice, 2 shakes, 1 soup, and glass after glass of water during these three days. I always felt full and satisfied, which kept my munchies at bay. During the other 15 days, the Chef V Healthy Routine was a breeze! I tried my best to keep my meals to a small piece of protein, a scoop of quinoa, and a green bean portion, but I ended up making a majority of the recipes Chef V includes–which satisfied my inner chef screaming “I need to cook!” You know what? I’m still making some of those recipes! The mac and ‘cheese’ recipe is a must try, the carrot soup recipe I love, and the chipotle bowl recipe was another fave but, all the recipes are very well designed and well put together to suit tastes. AND theres this whole swap and switch ingredient chart to make your own recipes, with 1000’s of options! Impressive is my choice of word for the amount of research and development that went into making up these recipes on Chef V’s part! While the products are of very high quality, and the little extras of well branded bottles and bags that come are Goonies goody, the real value of this cleanse is in the amount of research done by Chef V to make sure that the amount and types of different nutrients in each step of the cleanse is fulfilling to each body type for maximum RESULTS. And…..I got em’….those RESULTS I hoped for. I am exploding with energy, my abs are back in plain view, my eyesight is noticeably crisper, my sinuses are cleaner, my thoughts are positive and happy, my body is strong, my determination is high, and all and every other mystical promise is easily noticeable after my completion of my 21 Day Challenge! THANK YOU Chef V; and not for delivering a bag of stuff to my door, but for all the countless hours of study you have done to deliver a cleanse that gives noticeable results and restoration! Thank you, Chef V!
